These are key questions for NGO staff that are implementing projects but have not had the chance to focus safety and security. Currently, worldwide security related incidents and safety related accidents are on the increase. These incidents lead to injuries and/or the loss of life of UN/ IO / (I)NGO personnel.
Human Development Forum Foundation (HDFF) is offering a training that will help you to improve the safety and security culture of your organization.
Being trained will allow you to develop basic skills, simple assessments or proper reporting of safety related incidents.
Objectives- Be able to conduct a basic risk assessment for UN/ (I)NGO
- Be able to report safety and security incidents
- Be able to carry out First Aid measures for daily use in the field
- Be able to use fire-fighting equipment effectively
ParticipantsThis 3-day-training is open to all employees, predominantly implementing personnel and administrative staff of UN/(I) NGO in Southeast Asia and beyond. The training is designed to help individuals better understand safety and security related issues and how to react immediately in case of minor injuries and fire.
The course will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis up to a maximum of 25 participants. Please register as soon as possible to ensure your space in the training.
