Internews is implementing Champions for Change to Achieve Safer Road Use in Thailand Project supported by International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent (IFRC) Societies and the Global Road Safety Partnership (GRSP). This project aims to promote the role of media in amplifying critical messaging related to road safety advocacy to make roads safer in Thailand.

Internews is seeking firms to conduct media monitoring on road safety and related issues in Thailand to understand media coverage around road safety and related issues through specialized analysis on the different roles of major stakeholders around the topic. 

 

  1. Purpose of the consultancy

To collect road safety related content of print, broadcast and online media in Thailand on a daily basis and provide monthly data and analysis of findings during June-November 2019.. This will help shape future communication and engagement strategies.

  1. Methodology for the Media Monitoring

The media monitoring on road safety and related issues in Thailand will be conducted through both quantitative and qualitative content analysis methodology. Quantitative content analysis will collect data about media content and qualitative content analysis will examine the relationship between the text and its likely audience meaning.

  1. Scope of Price Proposal and Schedule of Payments

The selected monitoring company shall be paid upon completion of the following milestones

Submissions will be evaluated in consideration of the Evaluation Criteria as stated below:

The offer will be evaluated by using the Best value for money approach (combined scoring method).

Technical proposal will be evaluated on 70%. Whereas the financial one will be evaluated on 30%.
