We are seeking suitably qualified THAI nationals to apply for the below position.
Administrative Assistant (Logistics)

Salary starts from THB 39,404 per month, plus insurances and other benefits
Accountabilities: The Administrative Assistant (Logistics) reports to Regional Logistics Officer. Within delegated authority, the Administrative Assistant (Logistics) will be responsible for the following duties:
-Arrange meetings and workshops in the unit including liaising with the hotels and providing administrative assistance required for the event e.g. visa requirement for the participants, availability of equipment and communication facilities at meeting venues.
-Make travel arrangements and organize tickets, visas, accommodations for staff in the unit. Initiate and prepare travel requests, security arrangements including the travel expense claims.
-Maintain and update mission and leave plans, attendance and leave records of staff in the unit.
-Review and compile the data from the country offices in order to produce weekly operational update.
-Provide support in Regional or country project on creation of purchase requisition, purchase order, downpayment and good receipt in WFP Information Network and Global System (WINGS) as required.
-Provide administrative assistance on the appointment and extension of professional consultants, liaise with other related units and travel agent on the visa and travel arrangements.
-Maintain and update the unit’s files and reference systems e.g. unit website, confidential files, unit missions and reports.
-Perform standard secretarial routine correspondence related to the unit’s work and type a variety of materials such as correspondence, reports, etc.
-Perform other related duties as required.
Minimum secondary school education. University degree in Business or Public Administration; Accounting; Finance; Logistics; or other related fields would be advantageous.
At least three years of progressively responsible support work experience in general administrative work or secretarial function. Experience in the field of logistics, supply chain operations or administrative services is an asset.
Training and/or experience utilising a variety of computer software and other technology equipment, including word processing, spreadsheet and other WFP standard software packages and systems. General knowledge of UN system administrative policies, rules, regulations and procedures in the area of administration.
Fluency in both oral and written communication in English and Thai.
