The ICRC Regional Delegation in Bangkok is looking for candidates for a:
Trainer, based in Bangkok
Under the supervision of the Head of the Learning and Development Unit for Asia and the Pacific, the trainer animates in-house staff training both in Thailand and abroad, both independently and in cooperation with other trainers of the unit.
Main duties and responsibilities
Delivers training courses covering staff induction, team management and leadership, communication, and other relevant topics
Engages in participant follow up before and after Face-to-Face training sessions
Develops course content in accordance with learning and development module designs
Conducts Learning Needs Analyses
Minimum required knowledge and experience:
Excellent communication skills, including public speaking, presentation skills and drafting of complex texts in English
Training experience is an important asset; strong willingness to further develop training competences
University degree: Bachelors, Masters preferred, in a relevant discipline
Strong intercultural skills: openness to and tolerance of different cultures, religions and opinions
Fluent command of spoken and written English; other languages are an asset (the main working language is English)
4-6 years’ work experience, including in the field of humanitarian aid (in particular, experience with the ICRC, the IFRC or a national Red Cross or Red Crescent Society will be a definite asset)
International experience is a definite asset
Very good computer skills
Ability to manage groups in an efficient and friendly manner
Displaying initiative and creativity
Availability for frequent travel in the region and beyond, including irregular working hours
