Administrative & Logistics Assistant
With this opening we are looking for a person with a general administrative education background, ideally combined with some logistics working experience. The post offers an opportunity to learn various administrative tasks and is addressed to professionals with long term administrative ambitions.
He/she will be responsible for:
Various Logistics functions; local purchase, warehousing, dispatching, fleet management, and statistical reports
Purchasing: in accordance with ICRC standards and in a fully transparent manners
Maintaining the internal order management database including provide guidance, support and training for the "client" departments on using it
Identifying potential suppliers, visiting and maintaining good relationship with them
Planning and arranging delivery of goods within Thailand and the region
Ensuring that reception, inspection of all items delivered to stocks and documents signatures are done correctly in accordance with the internal procedure
Being the link between Logistics and Delegations, Sub-Delegation and Offices
Assisting Head of Logistics as required
He/she will also be trained and work in
A wide range of administrative tasks within different administrative departments
Specific administrative software programs
Minimum of 2 year work experience ideally related to general administration and logistics
Knowledge of database management would be highly desirable
Bachelor’s degree in business administration or related field
Good command of both spoken and written communication in English and Thai
Proficiency in computer skills i.e. Microsoft Office: word, excel, power point, internet search engine, etc.
Strong sense of responsibility and adaptability
Analytical and methodical person
Capacity to integrate and adhere to general ICRC procedures
Flexible with a sense of humor
