The ICRC Regional Delegation in Bangkokis looking for candidates for a:
Junior Secretary (Full Time)
Learning and Development Regional Unit, based in Bangkok
Under the supervision of the Secretary of the Unit, the Junior Secretary helps organising and administering the smooth running of all training activities organised by the Learning and Development Regional Unit in Bangkok.
He/she will be responsible for:
Assisting in handling all back-office tasks related to the smooth running of all training activities, including liaison with ICRC representations throughout Asia and beyond, with providers and suppliers of training-related products and services, as well as with internal stakeholders including administration, logistics and resource persons.
Assisting in managing and updating the training library, materials inventory and filing, including digital archives, as well as compiling relevant statistics for reporting.
University diploma (or equivalent)
2-4 years' work experience in a similar field
Confirmed planner and organiser
Excellent computer skills
Fluent command of written and spoken English and Thai
Excellent communication skills, including drafting of complex texts in English
Openness to and tolerance of different cultures and religions
Ability to manage groups in an efficient and friendly manner
Ability to work independently and under pressure
Availability for occasional travel in the region and beyond, including irregular working hours
International experience an asset
Dynamic work environment in a humanitarian international set-up.
