Job Description

Post title: Academic Program Officer

Organisation: International Master Program on Human Rights & Democratisation, Asia-Pacific region (APMA Program), Institute of Human Rights & Peace Studies, Mahidol University-Salaya Campus

Location: Institute of Human Rights and Peace Studies, Mahidol University

Reports to: Program Director of Master program on Human Rights & Democratization, Asia-Pacific region (APMA Program)

Salary Range: 35,000- 40,000 Thai baht depending on qualifications and experiences

Starting Date: As soon as possible

Responsibilities

  • Manages student recruitment process including promotion of the program and intake process.
  • Manages events and logistics within the internationally-supported, multi-country graduate educational program based in Mahidol University
  • Represents Mahidol University with regional partners and at the Global Campus of Human Rights
  • Compiles and writes narrative reports to international funders, including the European Union
  • Coordinates and communicates with partner institutions, funders, alumni and stakeholders on activities, promotion from the program
  • Liaises with Finance Manager, Academic Coordinators, and Program Assistant in event and budget planning and delivery
  • Performs other duties as assigned by the Program Director

 

Qualifications

  • Excellent command of spoken and written English and Thai language skills for university administration communications
  • Comfortable working in mixed culture environment
  • Experience interfacing with international organizations
  • Experience with project planning and implementation in NGO or educational institution environment and report writing
  • Ability to work in team and the ability to interact effectively with all groups involved in the program
