About ACT Foundation Thailand: 

 

The ACT Foundation is a registered foundation in Thailand. It works on issues pertaining to Humanitarian Emergencies, Disaster Risk Reduction, Climate Change and Sustainable Development.

 

The focus of the foundation is to help Thailand and its people through supporting organizations with skills in dealing effectively with Humanitarian emergencies such as floods, Hurricanes, earthquakes and Tsunamis. We bring expertise in Disaster Risk Reduction (DRR) which will help civil society organizations in Thailand to integrate  DRR into their planning, so as to reduce the impact of natural disasters.  In times of large scale emergencies we will support with food, shelter, and education programs. The ACT Foundation works closely with and is allied to the ACT Alliance.

 

ACT Alliance is a coalition of more than 152 churches and affiliated organisations working together in over 140 countries to create positive and sustainable change in the lives of poor and marginalised people regardless of their religion, politics, gender, sexual orientation, race or nationality. Position: Finance Assistant   This Position is open only to Thai national, women are encouraged to apply.

 

Location: Bangkok

 

Duration: 2 year contract (renewable)

 

We offer:

  • THB 30,000 – THB 40,000 monthly salary with good package of benefit
  • Dynamic working environment in the humanitarian and international context

 

Requirements and experiences:

  • Bachelors degree in accounting or related discipline
  • 1-2 year experience preferably in an international organization / international company with a multicultural environment.
  • Proficiency (written and oral) in English is essential.
  • Ability and willingness to undertake a variety of financial and administrative tasks.
  • Demonstrated experience with accounting software. for example: quickbook, GUSTO, Netsuite etc
  • Willingness to learn new skills and software
  • Ability to work independently, but also work as part of a team
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines

 

Main responsibilities:

  • Financial transactions and data capturing
  • Financial administration as necessary
  • Receivables & Income tracking and input
  • Preparation of Payments
  • Budget and Monitoring
  • Supporting Annual audit
  • Travel advances
  • Financial Book keeping
  • Office Administration duties as assigned

 

Preferred starting date: As soon as possible
