Pact/USAID Green Invest Asia has now just released a
Request for Qualifications – Technical carbon assessment services for sustainable agriculture and forestry projects in Southeast Asia for USAID Green Invest Asia
Full details and application form can be found here:
Pact and USAID Green Invest Asia invites interested organizations and individuals to submit their technical qualifications to provide a range of carbon assessment services for sustainable agriculture and forestry projects and businesses across Southeast Asia. This will assist Pact in developing a roster of regional expertise for upcoming and future consulting service needs.
USAID Green Invest Asia is a technical assistance facility working to catalyze private investment for sustainable agriculture and forest landscapes across Asia. Private sector clients include businesses, small and medium enterprises, cooperatives, multinational corporations, banks, investment funds, and other financial institutions operating in Indonesia, the Philippines, Cambodia, and Vietnam as well as regionally across Southeast Asia. USAID Green Invest Asia facilitates a pipeline of partner businesses involved in commodities including timber (i.e. teak, acacia, eucalyptus, natural forest concessions), rubber, coconut, coffee, cacao, cinnamon, cashew, rice, biomass, and other commodities. Carbon assessment services are needed across the portfolio of investors, companies and commodities, in order to estimate and demonstrate the climate benefits resulting from facilitating financing for sustainable agriculture and forestry businesses. These services may range from corporate carbon footprinting for voluntary reporting to in-depth, technical carbon assessments to support climate finance proposals, depending on the needs of specific client businesses.
Any questions for clarification on the RFQ may be submitted by June 5.
Applications are due by June 19.
