ADRA Thailand is currently seeking qualified candidates for the position of Cashier and Admin Assistant for the project ‘Strengthen Network for the Enhancement of Wellbeing among the stateless’ based in Mae Chan, Chiang Rai, Thailand

GENERAL MISSION: Cashier and Admin Assistant is responsible for implementation of the project finances following the project budget.  This work is carried out closely with the Project Coordinator and Accountant in Chiang Mai Office.  The Cashier and Admin Assistant is also expected to perform administrative tasks to ensure the smooth running of the project office.




Office Administration

  • Maintain filing systems for all project documents and preparing documents as required
  • Represent Thai Health Foundation Project in receiving visitors and donors
  • Responsible for office management and asset management
  • Ensure that all equipment is in good condition and ready to use
  • Taking minutes and record activity by submitting report



Manage funds for project activities

  • Record all expenses and send monthly report to Chiang Mai Office
  • Send reports using the Thai Health Foundation form and the original supporting documents to Chiang Mai Office
  • Prepare vouchers, receipts, checks and post entries in Thai Health accounting system
  • Withdraw funds from the bank according to requests
  • Deposit remaining funds
  • Conduct monthly bank and account receivable reconciliations
  • Review all receipts, follow up with suppliers and ensure that all expenses and details on receipts are in line with ADRA Thailand and Thai Health Foundation Finance and Procurement policies
  • Ensure that all support documents and receipts are attached to payment vouchers
  • Withhold tax according to the policy of the Thai Health Foundation
  • Accurately record all expenses into the petty cash register
  • Responsible for maintaining and disbursing petty cash
  • Assisting the Project Coordinator to request funds from Chiang Mai as required
  • Monitoring and analyzing monthly actual spending compared to approved budget
  • Managing payments and coordinate with local suppliers, hotels and network organizations to ensure the smooth running of the project
  • Assisting with procurement as needed
  • Performing other tasks as required by supervisor




  • Bachelor degree
  • At least 2-year working experience in Finance or Accounting
  • Experience in Finance or Accounting in the program of Thai Health is an advantage
  • Native Thai
  • Intermediate English verbal and written language skills
  • Excellent Thai verbal and written language skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Able to take initiative and prioritize work
  • Valid driving license is required
