People Serving People Foundation (PSPF) is a young and vibrant Thai foundation based in Bangkok, Thailand. We work in partnership with a broad range of Thai and ASEAN civil society organizations, international NGOs, UN agencies, foreign governments, and civil society activists to promote democracy in the region. Through partnerships with Boat People SOS (BPSOS), Coalition to Abolish Modern-Day Slavery in Asia (CAMSA) and Peoples’ Empowerment Foundation (PEF), we also work with victims of human rights abuses, including trafficked victims and victims of religious and political persecution.

 

Job Description & Responsibilities:

We are looking for a qualified individual to oversee and manage our Bangkok team and various projects. The Programs and Operations Manager will be responsible for leading an international team of up to 12 individuals and overseeing as many as 15-20 simultaneous projects.
 

The Programs and Operations Manager will oversee training and management of staff and volunteers and will be responsible for day-to-day operational management of available resources in order to achieve set objectives. The Programs and Operations Manager’s responsibility includes providing support to project staff, building partnerships with like-minded organizations, recruiting and training volunteers, compiling performance reports to funders, guiding project implementation, and ensuring quality control of project activities and timely deliverables.  

Qualifications & Requirements:

The successful candidate should have a strong management background and a demonstrated ability to implement large projects, focus on achieving objectives, establish realistic deadlines, and hold teammates accountable. The applicant should have his/her system of managing projects that can be implemented immediately into PSPF’s day-to-day operations.

 

Essential qualifications include:

A first degree in any discipline;

Working experience in the NGO or business sector, with substantial project development and management experience;

Fluency in Thai and English;

Excellent interpersonal and communications skills;

Strong command of Microsoft Office;

Ability to work independently in an international, multi-cultural environment; and

Commitment to living in Thailand.

 

Compensation:

The Programs and Operations Manager will be paid a locally competitive nonprofit salary consistent with the applicant’s experience and ability, and be given a benefits packages with generous time off policies.
