Job Description:
The Environmental Justice Foundation (EJF) is an international non-governmental organisation working globally to protect people and the planet.
EJF is working in Thailand to end illegal, unreported and unregulated (IUU) fishing and human rights abuses on fishing vessels and actively promote improvements to policy- making, corporate governance and management of fisheries.
EJF is seeking to employ a ‘Program assistant' to help EJF deliver its campaign objectives in combatting IUU fishing and human rights abuses in Southeast Asian fisheries. This position will involve working closely alongside EJF campaigners, conducting desk-based research, fieldwork (as required) and administration for the delivery of the campaign.
Successful candidates should be comfortable working independently and be confident in: conducting research to facilitate EJF objectives, contacting and engaging with external partners to further EJF campaigns, and delivering high-quality and meticulous campaign administration tasks. Candidates should also be prepared to travel within Thailand, potentially at short notice.

Post Title: Program assistant
Type of appointment: Full-term permanent position with an initial 3 month probation period.
Remuneration: 50,000 – 60,000 baht per month, depending on experience
Location: Bangkok based with need to travel as required.
