ADRA Thailand is currently seeking qualified candidates for the position of Field Coordinator based in Mae Sot, Tak, Thailand

Job overview: The Field Coordinator is responsible for project activities according to the log frame and work plan in consultation with associate project partners (Thai public health authorities, community leaders, etc.).  To ensure project goal is met and effective flow of information between the beneficiaries (migrant workers), local stakeholders (community leaders, religious leaders, CSOs) and the Program Manager.



  • To work closely with community volunteers to carry out Risk Communication and Community Engagement activities; 
  • To work with CSOs/CBOs, community leaders, and religious leaders in sharing information on COVID-19 and its vaccines;
  • To work closely with ADRA Thailand’s existing project staff to carry out project activities;
  • To work with Thai public health actors on information source and activity coordination;
  • To help ensure a good flow of information between the beneficiaries, local stakeholders and the Program Manager;
  • To coordinate with associate partners to ensure smooth and effective implementation of Risk Communication and Community Engagement activities;
  • Participate in stakeholder meetings and provide updates and input about vaccine information campaign;
  • Keep track of indictor table on a regular basis;
  • Write activity report on a quarterly basis;
  • Participate and contribute to the weekly team meeting;
  • To ensure proper implementation of project activities according to the logframe and work plan and in consultation with project partners;
  • To coordinate with partners, consultants and resource persons for  workshops and meetings;
  • Other tasks required by the supervisor


Preferred candidates are expected to meet the following:

Minimum Skills & Education Required:


Educational Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in public health, health education, community health, social work, or others



  • Significant experience in working with migrant workers, local CSOs, and advocacy (at least 2-3 years).
  • Experience working with public health is a plus.


Language Skills:

      - Fluent Thai or/and Burmese (written and oral)

      - Fluent in English is a plus


Skills and Abilities:

      - Significant experience in working with migrant communities

      - Sound computer skills in word, excel, and power point

      - Ability to work under pressure and to cope with multi-tasking

      - Ability to interact in a sensitive and diplomatic way

      - Ability to work in multi-cultural setting

      - Transparent, organized and responsible work style

      - Team spirit

      - Ability to build strong relationships with local migrant communities, partners and related government authorities.
