Position Title: Finance and Administrative Associate
Supervisor: Director of Finance and Administration

Position Summary:
The Finance and Administrative Associate will provide finance and administrative support services for Myanmar projects and team members working from Thailand. The Finance and Administrative Associate will be based in the Pact Thailand office in Bangkok and support Myanmar-related staff, projects, and offices in Bangkok and Chiang Mai.
Specific Duties and Responsibilities: .
Ensure all transactions are recorded in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) supported by relevant and verifiable source documents
Review and process local and overseas vendor invoices included bank transactions
Assist in reviewing of sub awardee invoices and back up documentation
Assist in preparation and file all applicable withholding taxes that might be required by Thai’s law
Provide administrative support to Pact Myanmar staff
Ensure effective telephone and mail communications
Process stationary requests & office supplies
Support field staff, arrange hotel accommodations, and assist with transportation arrangements as needed
Assist with travel accommodations and travel reconciliations
Assist with translation and submission of regular required project reports to Thai line ministries and relevant authorities
Assist with meetings and conferences by managing conference rooms, reservations, setting up conference calls, set up AV, etc.
Maintain electronic filing system, including scanning and filling
Maintain professional image internally and externally
Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications, Skills, Knowledge:
Ability to sustain interpersonal and professional relationships with internal colleagues and contacts in donor and peer organizations
Strong planning and time management skills, ability to handle high-volume, fast-paced work environment.
Attention to detail
Cultural sensitivity and interest or experience with Myanmar
Creativity and flexibility
Awareness of cross-border issues and bilateral relations between Thailand and Myanmar
Experience in handling sensitive and confidential information
Competence using common desktop applications and internal systems, including Microsoft Office Suites
Requirements:
Bachelor’s in Accounting, Finance, or related field
Minimum of (4) four years’ work experience in a professional office
Work experience in a similar role
Strong interpersonal and intercultural communication skills
Strong written and spoken English
High energy and ability to multitask
Attention to details and deadline oriented
A demonstrated interest in international development
