ADRA Thailand is currently seeking qualified candidates for the position of Administrative Assistant & Cashier in Mae Lao District, Chiang Rai, Thailand

Job overview: Under the supervision of the Project Manager, the Administrative Assistant and Cashier is custodian of the assets, responsible for cash management, procurement, providing project logistic support, management and maintenance of the premises including the building and grounds. She/he will also oversee the administrative processes in support of project implementation.
Responsibilities:
Work closely with Procurement/Logistic Officer in Chiang Mai to ensure purchasing in accordance to ADRA Procurement Policy
Drive girls to various engagements including school
Sleep in the shelter to look after girls at night on a rotation basis with the Shelter Coordinator and Shelter Assistant.
Attend engagements on behalf of the shelter as required.
Manage funds for project activities
Withdrawing funds from the bank according to requests
Conduct monthly bank and account receivable reconciliations
Maintain petty cash funds
Accurately recording all expenses into the petty cash register
Maintain the daily petty cash count and weekly report to Project Manager
Request for fund for activities according to plan
Collect project expense report from the project/staff and send to Chiang Mai Office in a timely manner
review all receipts and ensure expenses and details on receipts are in line with ADRA Thailand Finance and Procurement policies
ensure that all support documents and receipts are attached to payment vouchers
only reimburse expenses with proper authorization/ approval
Process payments for project activities in a timely manner
Collecting and review timesheets before submitting to Chiang Mai Office
Maintain filing system of project document
Keep track of all registration and license details including shelter license and welfare guardian license renewal
Taking minutes for project monthly and ProCom meeting
Perform admin tasks to ensure a smooth operation of the project
Responsible for managing meeting rooms, accommodation and facilitate all related administrative tasks in project activities.
Provide equal support to team and uphold ADRA’s value
Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor
Preferred candidates are expected to meet the following:
Minimum Skills & Education Required:
Educational Qualifications:
Bachelor degree in Accounting, Business Administration or related field
Experience:
Experience in accounting duties or administrative work for 1 year is advantage
Fresh graduates are welcomed to apply
Language Skills:
Fluent in spoken and written Thai
Proficiency in English is an advantage
Skills and Abilities:
Ability to work in a Christian context
Computer proficient in Microsoft Office and other financial software
Ability to accurately prepare, review and analyze financial and statistical reports.
Strong team operational management skills
Ability to work under pressure and to cope with multi-tasking
Ability to interact in a sensitive and diplomatic way
Ability to take initiative, prioritize and work independently
Valid driving license is required
