Who are we looking for? We are seeking seasoned, highly skilled and motivated consultants to join our institutional network of consultants to conduct research and studies, perform needs assessments, provide strategic direction and capacity strengthening, facilitate institutional development and so forth. Our expert team is made up of a diverse group of technical researchers, advisors and specialists based across the world; we work with the world’s leading and most ambitious corporations, governments and social sector corporations to drive growth on issues that are most important to them. Client engagements may be as short as a few months, but often evolve into multi-year, wide-ranging and, most importantly, transformative relationships.

Our team: As a consultant with Embode you are at the forefront of our work and exposed to an energetic, educational and rewarding environment; fostering growth and development of our people in line with institutional and personal goals and objectives. The primary role of a consultant is to work closely with Embode’s Associates and Associate Director to perform activities as agreed with our clients. You should be resilient, open to learning, possess a spirit for creativity and entrepreneurship, work collaboratively and be confident and driven in building technical and institutional capacity. Competencies and qualifications desired for this role include:

• Language skills: Excellent level of fluency in spoken and written Thai and English and an ability to communicate in articulate and culturally-adaptive ways. Being fluent in any other Asian languages is a distinct advantage.
• Efficient self-management: Strong capacity in managing one’s work, efficient at working remotely and across online platforms. Also, the capacity to work to task within agreed timeframes, maturity to communicate risks and negotiate boundaries.
• Technical experience: The capacity to design research methodology, conduct field work, gather and analyze data, and write up findings. The ability to provide trainings and/or disseminate information and knowledge through diverse platforms.
• Field experience: At least 3 years’ experience working in communities, programme implementation, in direct service provision or case work. Capacity in monitoring and evaluation.
• Relevant qualifications: At least 3 years’ experience in the area of social sustainability, business and human rights, labour rights, social/child protection, political science and/or international development, etc.
