Duties and Responsibilities
Leading, motivating, coaching, training, managing, and supervising the Thailand Finance and Admin team in line with the organization’s aims and objectives to ensure the effective performance of the units.
Being responsible for the financial operations and ensuring the maintenance of statutory books in accordance with the requirements of the Thailand Revenue Department, Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), and International Accounting Standards.
Ensuring compliance with all tax regulations and smooth book closing and preparation of internal reports for the Thailand office, including timely production of monthly and quarterly reports.
Monitoring cost-effective and efficient use of donations, reviewing expenditures, and ensuring that all significant contracts are negotiated on a competitive basis with transparency.
Initiating and/or taking action as recommended by the auditor in the annual management letter, as well as in the internal financial review result report.
Ensuring that all transactions are properly and timely recorded and uploaded into the SUN system, complying with GPSEA Regional accounting and finance timelines.
Requirements
A Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting is required. Preference will be given to candidates with a CPA qualification and auditing experience.
A minimum of 10 years of working experience is necessary, with at least 3 years at the middle management level.
Experience in an international working environment is essential.
The candidate should possess experience in developing an internal control system and establishing policies and procedures.
