CONSULTANT: APRRN Fundraising and Development Specialist
Short time consultancy: Start date 1 November 2023-29 February 2024 (with possibility of extension, subject to funding)
ASIA PACIFIC REFUGEE RIGHTS NETWORK (APRRN)
APRRN is a network of about 250 civil society organisations and individuals in 28 countries, committed to advancing the rights of refugees and other vulnerable groups on the move in need of protection in the Asia Pacific region. The network is supported by a secretariat of 12 staff, with HQ in Bangkok, and staff and consultants based in the region and in Europe. APRRN's activities are structured into key areas of joint advocacy, information sharing and capacity building, and we have just adopted a new 2023-2027 APRRN strategy.
Our members are diverse and include refugee-led organisations, service providers, human rights advocacy groups, research institutions, law firms providing pro bono legal aid, social entrepreneurs and refugees themselves. APRRN members work in their local contexts and advocate for changes in laws, policies, practices attitudes and behaviours to protect and promote the rights of refugees and other people on the move in need of protection.

We are seeking an energetic and dedicated Fundraising and Development Specialist to drive and coordinate our development initiatives. The ideal candidate will be passionate about the rights of refugees and other vulnerable people on the move, and will strong development and fundraising skills and experience. They will have excellent coordination skills and a willingness to guide and advice on fundraising initiatives initiated by our diverse membership.
The Fundraising and Development Specialist will be supervised and work closely with APPRN’s newly appointed Co-Secretaries General (CO-SGs)
