About Good Neighbors (Thai) Foundation:

Good Neighbors is an international humanitarian development non-governmental organization (NGO) established in 1991 and currently operating in over 50 countries. It has been recognized by the United Nations with General Consultative Status.

The Good Neighbors (Thailand) Foundation serves as the country office of Good Neighbors, dedicated to supporting vulnerable children and communities in Thailand. Our primary focus is on providing inclusive education opportunities for ethnic minority children in Chiang Rai, as well as humanitarian assistance in border regions of Thailand.

Position Title: Coordinator (Burmese-Thai Speaker) – Part-time

Work location: Mae Sot, Tak Province

Monthly salary: 8,000 Thai Baht

Work condition: Approx. 2.5 days per week (flexible depending on workload)

Note: There is no office in Mae Sot. Working from home and residing in Mae Sot are required.

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Serve as the local liaison to coordinate communication between stakeholders including NGOs, CSOs, and government sectors

  • Assist in organizing and supporting project-related activities such as workshops, site visits, and fieldwork logistics

  • Monitor and follow up on project activities to ensure efficiency and impact

  • Provide regular updates and reports to the head office in Bangkok

 

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Thai nationals who can speak Burmese, or Myanmar nationals with a valid Thai work permit

  • Ability to speak and read Thai and/or English is essential

  • Strong communication and coordination skills

  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

  • Comfortable working with diverse teams and communities

  • Having a valid driver’s license is an advantage (to support fieldwork and logistics)
