Employment type: Part-Time (Approximately 15 hours per week; schedule can be flexible)
Probation Period: 3 Months
Employment duration: 12 months with possibility of extension
Overview:
The World Health Organization Framework Convention on Tobacco Control (WHO FCTC) Knowledge Hub for Article 5.3 is seeking a part-time Knowledge Hub Website and E-Learning Administrator to maintain web content and design to ensure that the assigned website is functional, accurate, and up-to-date. The Knowledge Hub Website and E-Learning Administrator will also provide technical support for webinars and online meetings, ensuring seamless delivery of virtual events.
Key Responsibilities:
- Website Administration:
- Work with the manager and relevant staff to ensure the website provides accurate, relevant, and up-to-date information in a timely manner.
- Review and provide input to update the layout of the Knowledge Hub for the Article 5.3 website, allowing visitors to access content quickly and effectively.
- Make sure that the resources on the website are regularly updated correctly.
- Ensure the E-learning content, publications, and materials are updated and accessible.
- Content Promotion and Reporting:
- Promote the Knowledge Hub for Article 5.3 resources on social media channels, such as Facebook and LinkedIn.
- Provide a quarterly report on website and social media traffic.
- Technical Support for Virtual Events:
- Manage and control IT-related aspects of webinars and online events.
- Coordinate the setup of a video conferencing platform, such as Zoom, including egistration, breakout rooms, and security settings.
- Provide live technical support during online events, including webinars, to troubleshoot connectivity or platform-related issues.
- Record, manage, and archive online events, including webinars, ensuring proper storage and accessibility.
- E-Mail Management:
- Regularly check, manage, and respond to the organization’s IT email inbox, or forward messages to the appropriate team members for further action.
- Manage Knowledge Hub email users and groups.
- General IT Support:
- Perform regular website performance checks and troubleshooting to ensure optimal functionality.
- Stay updated with the latest web and virtual meeting technologies to recommend improvements.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in website administration and IT support, including familiarity with content management systems (CMS) such as WordPress and e-learning platforms.
- Basic understanding of web development (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) is preferred.
- Familiarity with graphic design tools (e.g., Adobe Photoshop, Canva, or similar) is an advantage.
- Proficiency with virtual meeting platforms, particularly Zoom, and the ability to manage technical aspects of webinars.
- Strong troubleshooting skills to address technical issues promptly.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks independently.
- Experience in promoting content on social media platforms and analyzing engagement metrics is a plus.
- Proficient in the English language, including reading, writing, speaking, and listening, complemented by strong communication and teamwork abilities.
- Proficiency in Thai communication is an advantage.
