Yunus Thailand (YT) works as a driving force for social business in Thailand, empowering entrepreneurs to solve the world's most pressing challenges. YT was co-founded by Muhammad Yunus, winner of the 2006 Nobel Peace Prize for his contributions in the fight against poverty and inequality.
Driven by this vision, YT works towards a world of three zeros: zero net-carbon emissions, zero poverty, and zero unemployment through entrepreneurship. Through his work pioneering modern microfinance and launching the social business movement, Professor Yunus is estimated to have lifted more than 50 million people out of poverty. The microfinance and social business concepts he established with Grameen Bank have been replicated in nearly every country in the world. As a key organization within the global Yunus Social Business Network, YT is the coordinating mechanism and national touchpoint connecting Thailand with the world's largest social business family.
Roles and Responsibilities:
We are seeking a creative and well-organised Marketing and Communications Intern to join our team. The intern will support the Marketing and Communications Manager in developing and designing various materials for Yunus Thailand’s ongoing projects, including microfinance, safe seaweed social business, capacity building, events, and social entrepreneurship. This is an excellent opportunity to be part of Yunus Thailand and strengthen social business in Thailand. The intern will support the following areas:
Develop Marketing Materials:
Collaborate with team members to collect data and information for targeted marketing and outreach activities.
Create engaging graphics, reels and videos, and other marketing materials.
Content Development:
Develop marketing and communication materials for various social media platforms of Yunus Thailand.
Assist in preparing content with the Marketing and Communications Manager to promote updates and collaborations with key stakeholders.
Media and Communication:
Provide support to copywriting and enhance Yunus Thailand’s media channels, accounts, website, and presentation decks to ensure effective communication and engagement with target audiences.
Coordination and Support:
Work closely with all team members to ensure cohesive and efficient delivery of marketing initiatives.
Provide support in various marketing-related tasks as needed.
Qualifications:
Bachelor in Marketing, Communications Arts or related field
Strong communication and design skills
Excellent written and verbal communication abilities, English and Thai.
Proficiency in Google Suite and Canva
Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
Open-minded, eager to learn, and willing to try new things
Genuine interest in social impact initiatives and social business
