Location: Remote |Travel: 50% of working time |Status: Consultant |Report to: Program Coordinator

Are you a program professional passionate about making a difference? REACH for Equity is seeking a Program Officer who is responsible for working closely with program teams to manage and implement development and humanitarian projects effectively, ensuring timely delivery and achievement of targets in line with approved workplans and budgets. This role involves coordinating with partners, internal departments, donors, and stakeholders while supporting project tracking, reporting, meetings, trainings, and technical documentation to ensure compliant, efficient, and results-driven implementation. This position will report to Program Coordinator.

What We’re Looking For:

• A bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in development studies, sociology, humanitarian action, economics, project management, or other relevant qualifications.
• Minimum 2 years experiences in project management within emergency response, humanitarian, Cash & Voucher Assistance (CVA), WASH and livelihood, development, or governance programs is an asset.
• Demonstrated experience and skill in producing high-quality reports and presenting findings in a clear and concise manner.
• Experience of working in a multicultural and low-resource setting
• Ability to quickly develop a strong understanding of the local cultural and political context.
• Ability to establish good working relationships with colleagues and stakeholders with different cultural backgrounds.
• Strong and effective conflict resolution skills, and ability to drive and motivate others.
• Ability to establish priorities in a time sensitive environment and meet deadlines with strong attention to consistency, detail, and quality.
• Good presentation skills, writing and analytical skills; with fluency in both written and spoken English.
• Demonstration skills in community engagement, training, planning, monitoring and evaluation
• Flexibility to allow for travel (up to 50% of work time), variable working hours, and some modifications of tasks and responsibilities as team and project needs change
