Executive Director – Integrated Tribal Development Foundation (ITDF)

About ITDF

The Integrated Tribal Development Foundation (ITDF) is a Christian non-profit organization based in Chiang Mai, Thailand, with more than 34 years of experience serving marginalized hill tribe communities in Northern Thailand. ITDF works across water and sanitation (WASH), education, livelihoods and food security, health and mental health, environmental conservation, and community empowerment.

Our mission is to improve quality of life through holistic, sustainable community development rooted in Christian values of compassion, dignity, integrity, and servant leadership.

Role Overview

ITDF is seeking a committed and experienced Executive Director to lead the organization into its next chapter following a planned leadership transition. The Executive Director will provide strategic, operational, and spiritual leadership, ensuring that ITDF remains impactful, financially sustainable, and faithful to its mission.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide overall vision, strategy, and leadership for ITDF.
• Oversee planning, implementation, monitoring, and evaluation of multi-sector development programs.
• Lead and mentor senior staff and field teams with a servant-leadership approach.
• Manage relationships with donors, foundations, NGOs, churches, corporate partners, and government agencies.
• Ensure sound financial management, budgeting, audits, and donor compliance.
• Represent ITDF professionally to partners, communities, and the public.
• Uphold and model ITDF’s Christian values and organizational culture.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred in international development, nonprofit management, rural development, public health, engineering, education, social sciences, or a related field.
• Minimum 8–10 years of leadership experience in nonprofit, NGO, or international development contexts.
• Proven experience managing donor-funded projects and organizational budgets.
• Strong proposal writing, reporting, and donor communication skills.
• Commitment to Christian faith and servant leadership.

• Strong strategic thinking and organizational leadership skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and cross-cultural communication abilities.
• Ability to work effectively in rural, multicultural, and resource-limited settings.
• Financial literacy and comfort with budgets and reports.
• High level of integrity, humility, resilience, and adaptability.

Technical & Computer Skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint (or equivalent).
• Familiarity with cloud-based collaboration tools (Google Workspace, OneDrive, SharePoint).
• Basic understanding of monitoring & evaluation systems and data tracking.
• General IT literacy sufficient to support office operations and school IT initiatives.

Language Requirements

• Fluent spoken and written Thai (required).
• Strong spoken and written English (required).
• Knowledge of hill tribe languages (Karen, Lahu, Lisu, Akha, etc.) is an advantage.

Location & Travel

The Executive Director will be based in Chiang Mai, Thailand, with regular travel to hill tribe project areas in Northern Thailand.

คุณสมบัติ

1. เพศชาย อายุ 20-45 ปีบริบูรณ์
2. เป็นพี่น้องชาติพันธุ์ ชนเผ่าใดก็ได้
3. มีใจรักในงานพัฒนาชุมชน และการสร้างความสามัคคีในชุมชน
4. สามารถอยู่ในพื้นที่ได้ไม่ต่ำกว่า 20 วันต่อเดือน
5. มีความซื่อสัตย์ในการทำงานและมีความอดทนต่อแรงกดดันสูง
6. ไม่เกี่ยวข้องหรือเสพติดสิ่งเสพติดให้โทษหรือสิ่งมึนเมา
7. มีความสามารถในการแก้ไขปัญหาเฉพาะหน้า
8. สามารถพูด อ่าน เขียนภาษาไทยได้คล่อง
9. มีความตั้งใจในการทำงาน มุ่งมั่นในการพัฒนาตนเองและคุณภาพของงานอยู่เสมอ
10. สามารถเดินทางระยะไกลได้โดยการใช้รถจักรยานยนต์และมีใบขับขี่
11. ถ้าสามารถขับรถยนต์ รถบรรทุก 6 ล้อ และมีใบขับขี่ประเภทที่ 2 จะพิจารณาเป็นพิเศษ
12. ถ้ามีประสบการณ์การทำงานร่วมกับชุมชนชาติพันธุ์จะพิจารณาเป็นพิเศษ
13. ถ้ามีทักษะด้านการก่อสร้างจะพิจารณาเป็นพิเศษ
14. ถ้าสามารถสื่อสารภาษาอังกฤษได้บ้างจะพิจารณาเป็นพิเศษ
15. ถ้าสามารถใช้คอมพิวเตอร์ Microsoft Office ได้จะพิจารณาเป็นพิเศษ

หลักเกณฑ์การพิจารณาผ่านการทดลองงาน

1. สามารถหาหมู่บ้านเป้าหมายตามนโยบายของโครงการฯ ได้ด้วยตนเอง
2. สามารถนำประชุมชาวบ้าน สำรวจระบบประปาภูเขา และมีการเก็บข้อมูลที่ครบถ้วน
3. สามารถนำข้อมูลการสำรวจมาเขียนโครงการเสนอต่อหัวหน้างานได้
4. สามารถเป็นผู้นำในการเข้าไปดำเนินโครงการในหมู่บ้านเป้าหมายตั้งแต่ต้นจนสำเร็จโครงการได้
5. สามารถเขียนสรุปรายงานผลการดำเนินโครงการได้
6. สามารถวางแผนงานการดำเนินโครงการในหมู่บ้านได้
7. หากยังไม่ผ่านการทดลองงานสามารถทดลองงานต่อไปได้โดยความสมัครใจไม่เกิน 1 เดือน

เงินเดือนและสวัสดิการ (ผู้ที่ผ่านการทดลองงาน) ตำแหน่ง เจ้าหน้าที่การจัดการอบรมและการติดตาม

1. ระยะเวลาในการทดลองงาน 4 เดือน มีค่าตอบแทน 12,000 บาทต่อเดือน
2. เงินเดือนเริ่มต้น 15,000 บาทต่อเดือนหรือตามความเหมาะสมและมีการปรับเงินเดือนทุกปี
3. สวัสดิการประกันสังคม
4. สวัสดิการประกันชีวิต
5. เงินสะสม 5% ทุกเดือนจากโครงการฯ

เงินเดือนและสวัสดิการ (ผู้ที่ผ่านการทดลองงาน) ตำแหน่ง เจ้าหน้าที่ประปาภาคสนาม

1. ระยะเวลาในการทดลองงาน 4 เดือน มีค่าตอบแทน 10,000 บาทต่อเดือน
2. เงินเดือนเริ่มต้นหลังผ่านทดลองงาน 12,000 บาทต่อเดือน หรือตามความเหมาะสม
3. สวัสดิการเงินประกันสังคม
4. สวัสดิการประกันชีวิต
5. เงินสะสม 5% ทุกเดือนจากโครงการฯ
6. รถจักรยานยนต์สำหรับใช้ในการปฏิบัติงานในพื้นที่

ครู 1 อัตรา

เงินเดือน 10,000 บาท ประกันสังคม เงินสะสม ประกันชีวิต

สถานที่ปฏิบัติงาน: โรงเรียนบ้านทุ่งต้นงิ้ว ห้องเรียนสาขาบ้านหม่าโอโจ ตำบลแม่ตื่น อำเภออมก๋อย

จังหวัดเชียงใหม่

เริ่มสอน เทอมที่ 1 ปีการศึกษา 2569 (เดือนพฤษภาคม)

คุณสมบัติ

1. จบการศึกษาระดับปริญญาตรี สาขาวิชาปฐมวัย/ประถมศึกษา หรือสาขาอื่นๆ ที่เกี่ยวข้อง
2. มีใบประกอบวิชาชีพครู
3. ถ้าเป็นชาวไทยภูเขาเผ่ากะเหรี่ยงจะพิจารณาเป็นพิเศษ
4. สามารถสอนที่โรงเรียนในถิ่นทุรกันดารได้
