Project Officer (Local Position)
Project Overview
This project, titled “[Thailand Triangular Cooperation Project : Capacity Building for Carbon Neutrality in ASEAN Electrical and Electronic Industry]”, is funded by the Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA) and implemented by a consortium led by [Korea Conformity Laboratories(KCL)].
This position will be hired and contracted by [MYC Inc], a consortium partner responsible for project implementation.
The project aims to strengthen carbon neutrality capacity in Thailand’s electrical and electronics industry, with a focus on Life Cycle Assessment (LCA), post-use refrigerant management, and recycled plastic.
The project also seeks to promote the dissemination and scaling-up of these approaches across ASEAN countries through capacity building, knowledge sharing, and regional cooperation.
Key Information
Position Title: Project Officer
Nationality: Thai
Contract Duration: 1 year (with possibility of annual extension)
Working Hours: Monday to Friday (08:00–17:00, 40 hours per week)
Salary Range: USD 900–1,500 (depending on experience)
Duty Station: EEI Bangkok, 57 Chana Songkhram, Phra Nakhon, Bangkok 10200, Thailand
Estimated Start Date: As soon as possible

Expected Interview Date: From 20 April 2026 (on a rolling basis)
Duties and Responsibilities
1. Project Coordination and Implementation
- Support overall planning, coordination, and implementation of project activities
- Assist consortium experts in executing technical and operational tasks
- Liaise with Thai government agencies, partner organizations, and relevant stakeholders
2. Stakeholder Engagement and Communication
- Arrange meetings, site visits, and consultations with local stakeholders
- Facilitate communication between Korean experts and Thai counterparts
- Provide translation and interpretation support (Thai–English) as needed
3. Training and Capacity Building Support
- Assist in organizing training programs, workshops, and seminars
- Support expert coordination, participant management, venue arrangement, and logistics
- Provide on-site support during training and capacity-building activities
4. Administration and Office Support
- Support daily operation of the local project office
- Assist in administrative, procurement, and logistical tasks
5. Reporting and Financial Support
- Assist in preparing reports and documentation
- Support financial administration, including budget tracking and settlement processes
Qualifications and Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in a relevant field
- 1–7 years of relevant work experience
- Fluency in English (written and spoken)
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Strong coordination, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and work in a dynamic environment
Preferred:
- Experience in international development or donor-funded projects
- Experience working with government agencies or international organizations
