Essential Qualifications

• A degree or certification in social work, psychology, or related social services field

• Experience working with children or families affected by trauma, displacement, or separation

• Personal integrity, emotional resilience, and mental capacity to operate within complex trauma related cases. 

• Strong understanding of family-based care models, preferably in Southeast Asia

• Fluency in Thai, reading, writing and speaking, and conversational Burmese required; conversational English strongly preferred

• Strong interpersonal and organizational skills, with ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Must be legally eligible to work in Thailand and able to travel regularly to surrounding villages
