Role Description

Kenan Foundation Asia, a non-profit development organization working in partnership with companies, governments, academia, and committed individuals to empower people with the knowledge, technology, and skills necessary for a better future, is seeking an experienced professional for the position of Consultant / Senior Consultant (Research, MSME & Economic Development). This role primarily leads research, qualitative and quantitative data analysis, and curriculum development centered on business and economic development and Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in Thailand and the ASEAN region. Additionally, the role will manage end-to-end project implementation, drive stakeholder engagement with public and private sector partners, and support business development and proposal design.

Job Description

• ·       Lead in conducting high-quality research, data analysis, and curriculum development focusing on business and economic development, particularly MSMEs in Thailand and ASEAN. Background in qualitative research is strongly required.
• ·       Taking on the role of Project Manager to manage the full cycle of project management to ensure the success of the project objectives.
• ·       Work closely with the Partnerships Team in developing proposals in terms of conducting the research and writing proposals.
• ·       Maintain a good relationship with donors and stakeholders.
• ·       Be a representative to meet key stakeholders and share knowledge in areas of expertise.
• ·       Coach the project team members.

Qualifications

·     Master’s Degree or Ph.D. in Economics, Business Administration, International Development, Public Policy, Social Sciences, or a related field.

·        Strong in qualitative research and English writing skills

·  5 years of professional experience in applied research, data analysis, curriculum design, or project management within international development, non-profit organizations, management consulting, or economic development agencies.

·        Background in project management is also required

·        Good interpersonal skills and good teamwork
