Title: Finance Intern
Location: Bangkok, Thailand
Work Type: Full-time Internship (Monday – Friday)
Duration: 3 Months minimum starting as soon as possible
Monthly Allowance: 10,000 THB

Jesuit Refugee Service (JRS Thailand) is an international non-governmental organization (NGO) dedicated to serving, accompanying, and advocating for the rights and dignity of refugees, forcibly displaced persons, and asylum seekers.
Role Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Finance Intern who is passionate about humanitarian work and eagerness to gain real-world experience in NGO financial management. This role will provide hands-on exposure to financial compliance across all organizational projects and internal/external audit processes within an international working environment.
Key Responsibilities
Comprehensive Audit Support
- Support the Finance team during internal and external audits by gathering, preparing, and organizing required financial documentation and sample files across all projects.
- Maintain a structured and audit-ready filing system (both physical and digital) for financial records.
Financial Documentation & Verification across All Projects
- Assist in reviewing payment requests, invoices, and supporting receipts for accuracy, completeness, and donor compliance across all ongoing projects.
- Prepare payment vouchers and compile supporting documentation for operational expenses and project activities.
Operational & Project Support
- Assist in verifying staff cash advances, petty cash documentation, and participating in monthly cash counts.
- Coordinate with suppliers, service providers, and project staff regarding invoices, receipts, and missing financial documents.
- Provide administrative and financial support for project meetings, workshops, and training.
Qualifications
- Current undergraduate student (3rd/4th year) or fresh graduate in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, or related fields.
- Available to start internship as soon as possible for a duration of 3 months minimum.
- Fair command of English (written and spoken) for basic daily communication, documentation, and coordination.
- High attention to detail, strong sense of responsibility, and analytical skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office (especially MS Excel).
- Strong interest in humanitarian missions, social development, or the non-profit sector.
