Summary

 Suwannimit Foundation (SNF) is a Thailand registered foundation dedicated to strengthening the operational capacity and programming impact of community-based organizations that service underprivileged people on the Thailand-Burma border.

 The Trainer (Part-time) for TCC Non Profit Organization Management (NPO) Level 1 Course will be based in Mae Sot. The trainer will prepare the curriculum in accordance with the approved TCC NPO course and adjusting the teaching methodology to meet the learning pace of trainees. The Trainer will ensure that appropriate quality control mechanisms are in place for the course. The Trainer will also provide mentoring and support to trainees to ensure that the formal training program will be successfully implemented.

Job Specific

Adjust course modules and curriculum for a quality Non Profit Organization Management (NPO) Level 1 curricular,  aligned with the current TCC curriculum

Have a knowledge and familiar about the ethical leadership

Understanding about the cross culture communication

Understanding about the meaning of organization culture, types and effect its

Understanding about the cross culture communication and culture biases

Have a good team players

Understanding about the kind of management and have a practical

Have a update information about AEC and critical thinking ideas to the effect of AEC

Well know about the Microeconomics and the kind of taxation

Assist in establishing appropriate quality control mechanisms for the TCC  Non Profit Organization Management course to ensure quality implementation of the course, and to monitor and measure the impact of the course on the knowledge and skills of participants

Work closely with  the SNF Education Coordinator to prepare course assessment plans to examine the knowledge and skills of trainees

Work with SNF Education Coordinator to address the requirements of TCC with respect to subject credits and other issues as needed

Adjust existing practicum check list to support the development of practical skills

Organize tutorial classes as necessary for participants of the TCC courses

Provide day to day mentoring and support to trainees in their job settings, providing guidance on applying the theory in practice

 

Position Requirements

Education

Bachelor or masters degree or passed the high school equivalently

Applicants must be finished the PYU OD course

Work Experience

At least two years’ working with civil society partners in a capacity building/ organizational development; 

Have an experience in teaching and know about the Adult Learning Method

Skills/Knowledge/Aptitude

Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills, including the ability to design and deliver trainings and facilitate workshops;

Able to work independently while being a strong team player;

Culturally sensitive with the ability and interest to identify and work with a multi-ethnic team;

Familiarity with delivery of administration, education, and humanitarian assistance for displaced Burmese

Language(s)

Fluency in English and Burmese

Karen and Thai,  an advantage 

Other

Understanding of the situation along the Thailand-Burma border
