The Centre for Civil Society and Nonprofit Management (CSNM) at Khon Kaen University is looking for highly qualified and motivated persons for positions at CSNM and for a project to be funded by an international donor agency. CSNM is dedicated to building the skills of managers and leaders of non-profit organizations in Thailand and throughout the lower Mekong Sub-region, equipping them to effectively mobilize resources to improve local governance.
CSNM is offering two opportunities. Both are to be part of a CSNM donor-funded project team. CSNM positions are open duration while donor-funded project positions are up to
3 years. All positions are based in Khon Kaen. The Centre offers competitive salaries and
a complete benefits package.

CSO Capacity Building Coordinator (CBC)
The CBC will provide leadership in the design and implementation of training events and mentoring activities with focus on project and organization management. The CBC will lead the development of training and mentoring approached, tools and workplans. The CBC will develop and maintain relationships working relations with training organizations and NGO partners in Thailand and region.
Qualifications:
Advance university degree in related field.
Minimum 8 years experience in training staff of nonprofit organization in Thailand and/or the region.
Experience developing curriculum for project organization management training course.
Understanding of international best practices in nonprofit management and associated training.
Fluent English and Thai reading, writing and speaking skills.
CSO Platform Development Coordinator (PDC)
The PC will provide leadership in the design and implementation of public learning and dialogue events, including research activities and provide background and information for the events. The PDC will guide the development of research agenda and activities that will stimulate the creation of innovation tools using new technologies. The PDC will lead efforts to build and formalize networks or coalitions among collaborating CSOs and academic institute partners in Thailand and the region
Qualifications:
Advanced university degree in related field.
Minimum 8 years’ experience designing and managing research programs with focus on learning about and dissemination of information on new approaches, methods and tools using to CSOs working on oversight issues.
Experience developing networks and coalitions among CSOs and academic institutes.
Understanding of approaches to ensure network/coalition sustainability.
Fluent English and Thai reading, writing and speaking skills.
