Please note that all consultant positions are full-time, with a total of 20 days per month the length of the agreement. Successful applicants will be required to be located within the APCOM Secretariat, Bangkok Thailand. Please note that relocation and accommodation costs are not covered by APCOM and should be calculated into your proposed daily rate.

DIGITAL INFORMATION OFFICER - APPLICATIONS OPEN NOW: Close Friday 21st November 2014
The MSM and Transgender Networks Capacity Strengthening Initiative is as project in partnership with Australian Federation of AIDS Organisations (AFAO). It is funded by the Australian Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade (DFAT) through the Regional HIV Capacity Building Program. The project aims to capacitate the MSM and Transgender networks in the region by providing technical support based on the results of the Rapid Assessment Apparatus developed by APCOM/AFAO, providing wider access to relevant strategic information in the region, and nurturing partnerships.
The Digital Information Officer Officer shall be working together with the Advocacy Capacity Development Officer and the Media and Communications Officer. The officer will also work closely with internal teams within APCOM, the officer is also responsible in facilitating the dissemination of the relevant strategic information, knowledge sharing, keeping relevant stakeholders up to date, and contributing to maintain APCOM’s online content.
This position will require someone with strong English and Thai language abilities. It is strongly recommended that applicants identify as one of the key affected populations for HIV (MSM, PLHIV and or transgender).
Monitoring and Evaluation Officer - APPLICATIONS OPEN NOW: Close Friday 21st November 2014
As the M&E Officer you will be responsible for providing substantive support for development of M&E policies and procedures for APCOM and ensure a strong M&E system is instituted as per the national and donor requirements and regional practices. The consulting M&E Officer will also support in the M&E aspects of implementation of the various APCOM-specific regional and country level activities as per work plan and budget proposed for APCOM under MSA Phase 2 and other projects managed by APCOM. In addition, they will also provide strategic support to the country SRs in building their M&E capacity where possible.
