ADRA Thailand is currently seeking applicants to work at our office in Mae Sot district, Tak province in the project of Enhanced Capacities for Migrant Advocacy (ECMA) as detail below

 

  1. Monitoring and Evaluation Officer

Responsibilities:

The Monitoring and Evaluation Officer is responsible for project activities according to  project implementation plan and in consultation with CSOs.  To collect and monitor data, ensuring field activities meet project targets.

 

  • Contribute to the development and Implementation of an effective M&E system with project team
  • Collect relevant project data from CSOs and put into M & E system
  • Create surveys, assessments, and questionnaires to help track progress of field activities
  • Provide recommendations on improvements to current monitoring tools and collaborate with Project team in creating new monitoring tools
  • Attend and monitor CSO meetings, activities, and workshops
  • Attend and monitor local network/coordination meetings
  • Provide feedback to Project Management team on findings from field activity monitoring
  • Produce event reports after project events
  • Produce activity/meeting/workshop write-up
  • Produce success stories illustrating project impact
  • Report progress of field activities
  • Assist Project Manager/Program Coordinator in preparing quarterly and annual reports
  • Participate and contribute in staff  and partners meeting
  • Other tasks required by Project Manager

 

Preferred candidates are expected to meet the following:

 

Minimum Skills & Education Required:

Educational Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher

 

Experience:

  • Familiar with the migrant context of Thailand,
  • Experience working with NGOs in the field for 2-3 years (in field of coordination or M&E preferable).

 

 

Language Skills:

  • Fluent in English and Thai (written and oral)
  • Fluent in Burmese is a plus

 

Skills and Abilities:

  • Significant experience in working with migrant communities
  • Interest in learning about M&E
  • Sound computer skills in word, excel, and powerpoint
  • Ability to work under pressure and to cope with multi-tasking
  • Ability to interact in a sensitive and diplomatic way
  • Team spirit
  • Organized and responsible work style
