Project Coordinator -Career Development for Youth Program

Position: Project Coordinator – Career Development for Youth Program (Phrase II)
Assignment Type: One year contract with likely extension
Location: Based in Bangkok
Job background: The Project Coordinator –Career Development for Youth Program will assist Program Staff to operate and monitor the implementation of assigned projects. Starting from July 2018, there is a assigned project namely “ Career Developemnt for Youth Program (Phrase II)“. This incumbent will require a financial , administrative and logistics support for organizing the activiyies of Career Development for Youth Program. This project will be aligned with the related Pan’s international policies/procedures and standards.
Job purpose: Coordinate and liaison with Department of Employment, Institute for Skill Development and Business and related for promoting the active participation in the project • Collaborate and coordinate with external consultants and partner agencies in ensuring effective implementation • Monitor the progress of projects in SAP system • Revise and review both progress towards stated activities and output mentioned in the project work plan • Involve in facilitating monthly and quarterly management meetings and planning • Support the project’s advocacy effort to push for relevant public policy changes • Ensure good collaboration with communities, relevant stakeholder in addressing children’s rights and improving participatory of children • Liaison and develop networks with IOs, NGOs and government agencies for purposes of information exchange, strategic operations and network.
Qualifications, Skills & Experience: Citizen of Thailand • Minimum three years of demonstrated professional experience coordinating the youth career development projects • Experience working with local NGOs • Good knowledge of community development • Experience in capacity building skills for Youth in Juveniles Detention Centre • Ability to maintain continuous productive communication with all stakeholders • Experience of working with children and communities is an advantage • Network building skills • Strong negotiation, facilitation and training skills • Effective communication skills • Proficient in computer skills • English an added advantage.
