The Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung e.V. is seeking an experienced Project Manager for a full-time position for its EU Co-funded project “Environmental Empowerment for Grassroots and Non-State Actors in Thailand”. The duration of the action will be 36 Months and is planned to start on March 2015. The project will be based in Bangkok with activities also taking place in other provinces in Thailand.
Qualifications, skills:
- Bachelor/Master degree;
- Project management experience;
- Very good computer skills (Words, Excel, PPP etc.);
- Excellent command of English with Thai as a mother tongue;
- Language skills in German would be an advantage;
- The ability to deal with partner and external stakeholders related to the project planning and management;
- Experience of the implementation of larger projects in the respective qualification area, accuracy;
- Acquaintance with the budget structure and the EU financial management guidelines would be an advantage;
- Good communication skills, good team-work ability
Responsibilities
- Implementation of the project in accordance with the EU contract and regulations;
- Set up / coordination of the project infrastructure;
- Planning of activities, time management and controlling;
- Coordination of the day-to-day activities of the project (content and financial);
- Administration of the project in coordination with the KAS head office and partner;
- Supervision of the project team;
- Relationship management with partner and external stakeholders;
- Continuous narrative and financial project reporting;
- Quality control of all outputs;
- Ensuring communication between the project team and relevant KAS stakeholders;
- Overseeing all external project communication and ensuring its confidentiality;
- Timely completion and submission of all reports, as stipulated in the project application and the general conditions of the EU.
