International Justice Mission (IJM) is a Christian human rights organization that works with local authorities to help people who are victims of injustice and oppression. The agency utilizes a holistic approach to cases of injustice, by mobilizing interventions on behalf of victims, establishing aftercare for the victims, and driving maximum-impact, long term change through justice system transformation. IJM Thailand focuses on two caseworks – citizenship rights and child sexual assault. The field office assists ethnic minority groups in Thailand by helping them attain their citizenship through legal pathways. In addition, IJM Thailand works closely with the people of Thailand to fight child sexual abuse through prevention, legal intervention, and education.
International Justice Mission Thailand is looking for talented and driven individuals to fill the following vacant positions. These positions are based in the field office of Chiang Mai, Thailand. Because IJM is a Christian organization, applicants must possess a mature orthodox Christian faith as defined by the Apostles' Creed. Legal Status Documentation Program Manager:
Must have previous knowledge and experience with citizenship work.
Must possess leadership ability to lead a team to meet yearly goals.
Must have previous experience with advocacy, communicate well with government and district officials.
Must have flexibility for travel to field work locations (approximately 30 hours/month)
Must possess excellent interpersonal skills.
Fluency in English speaking and writing strongly preferred.
Child Sexual Abuse Psychologist:
Mature orthodox Christian faith as defined by the Apostles' Creed
Must have a Bachelor's degree in Psychology
Must be licensed in practicing Psychology from the government of Thailand
Minimum of 1 year experience working with psychology clinics (with testing and analytical work) and counseling situations
Must possess excellent interpersonal skills
Finance Assistant:
Mature orthodox Christian faith as defined by the Apostles' Creed.
At least 2 years of experience in accounting.
Must possess exceptionally high level of honesty and integrity.
Must be disciplined with priorities and works well under deadline pressures.
Child Sexual Abuse Attorney:
Mature orthodox Christian faith as defined by the Apostles' Creed
Must possess a law degree from an accredited university
Must have licensing to practice law in Thailand
Fluency in English is preferred but not required
Must have high level of integrity and honesty
