The Office of the AUN Secretariat is located at Chulalongkorn University, Bangkok.  The AUN is the network of 30 leading universities from all ASEAN Member States, serving the aspiration to ASEAN integration. The Secretariat’s main mission is to initiate and organize the collaborative activities in many aspects for the advancements of higher education and human resource development in the ASEAN region.  See www.aunsec.org

We are looking for young university graduates (Thai Nationality) to fill in position for Programme Officer

Qualifications

• A master degree in the social sciences (any field) is preferred.
• Language skills in English are ESSENTIAL. Applicants must have excellent English speaking and writing skills.

Previous Experience

Main Duties and Responsibilities

**Working Experience is not required** we would like to recruit a graduate (Master in social sciences) who is interested in working in a challenging environment. However, the person we are looking for will have to work across many projects, coordinate and implement several activities, meet with people from many nationalities. Your daily tasks will be filled with lots of emails and letters, as well as project proposals. You will need to solve many unexpected problems. You, (with the team or sometimes alone) will get a chance to organise activities aboard, managing events and writing the financial report. Additionally you will get to work with various team members to ensure the success of each project.  You will do also in developing programmes and drafting concept papers and project proposals; coordinating with relevant stakeholders, including academia, in organizing meetings/workshops/seminars/conference aboard. You have to take role in drafting minutes of meetings and report of the meeting and conference.

The successful candidate will be rewarded with the starting salary Range of 28,000 – 30,000 Baht (excluding travel allowance and other benefits)
