Contract Period:
- One year with a possibility of contract renewal (project will end in May 2024 but we are expecting to extend one more year)
- Starting from the middle of March 2022 (with a half-month trial period)
Salary:
- THB 20,700 to 29,900 per month (depending on the experience and qualification)
- Overtime and commutation fee will be added
Job Description:
Main responsibilities are to assist tasks of the Japanese project coordinator as follows:
- To assist in administrative and logistic matters of the project (e.g., procurement of goods, arrangement of business trips, communication with the project members)
- To assist in meetings, seminars, and workshops (e.g., half-year leaders meeting, annual meeting, public meeting)
- To assist in recording duties (e.g., take notes, video, and photos)
- To support the Public Relations and other documentation processes (e.g., SNS, brochure)
- To interpret experts with project stakeholders in necessary occasions especially during the business trips and site visits (English/Thai and Thai/English)
- To translate relevant documents for the project (English/Thai and Thai/English)
Requirements:
- Proficiency level in English and mother tongue in Thai
- Basic computer skills (e.g., Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Gmail, Google drive)
- Basic business manner with good coordination skill
Qualifications:
- Bachelor or higher degree
- Official English test score (minimum TOEIC 810, TOEFL PBT 580/iBT90, IELTS 6.5)
- Fresh graduates are welcome

Brief information of the Project:
Thai Fish Project (Project for the Utilization of Thailand Local Genetic Resources to Develop Novel Farmed Fish for Global Market) is a research project lead by the Tokyo University of Marine Science and Technology (TUMSAT) and the Department of Fisheries, Thailand, with other notable research institutes in both Thailand and Japan. This project started in June 2019 and is now in the middle of the Project period with observing some positive outcomes. This project is funded by the JICA (Japan International Cooperation Agency) and the JST (Japan Science and Technology Agency) for the program called SATREPS (Science and Technology Research Partnership for Sustainable Development).
