Background/IRC Summary:

Founded in 1933 at the call of Albert Einstein, the IRC is at work in over 40 countries and 26 U.S. cities helping people to survive, reclaim control of their future and strengthen their communities. The IRC has been operating in Thailand since 1975 and currently provides assistance to displaced persons in Tak, Kanchanaburi, Ratchaburi and Mae Hong Son provinces.
Job Overview/Summary:
The HR Assistant will effectively support Human Resources team on visa and work permit applications for staff in Bangkok and field offices.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Prepare new applications for international staff submitting to Ministry of Labor.
• Prepare all necessary documents of organization and staff for visa and work permit requested by relevant Thai authorities.
• Translate documents related to visa and work permit applications from Thai to English and vice versa.
• Assist HR team preparing visa and work permit application requests to Ministry of Interior (MOI) during annual renewal period.
• Escort international staff to the Thai Immigration Office for visa extensions and Ministry of Labor for work permit renewal.
• Represent IRC positively and professionally in both internal and external relations and situations
• Always keep HR information private and confidential.
Deliverable
• Complete set of documents related to new application for international staff and submit to Ministry of Labor and relevant Thai authorities.
• Complete set of documents for new international staff obtaining new visa abroad.
• Complete set of documents for obtaining visa extension and work permit in Thailand.
Report to: Human Resources Manager
Job Requirements
Education:
• Bachelor’s degree in human resources management, Business Administration, or related field
Work Experience:
• 1 year’s work experience in Administrative or Human Resources.
• Experience in visa and work permit paperwork management is preferable.
• Experience in a non-profit organization and international environment is preferable
Demonstrated skills:
• Excellent Organized skills, deadline oriented, good team player
• Attentive to details
• Positive attitude and excellent service mind
Languages and Computer skills
• Good communication skills, both written and spoken English
• Computer proficient and demonstrate skills in record keeping
Duration: 4 Months
Terms of payment
The wage will be paid after HR Assistant submit timesheet at the end of each month, payment will be made by bank transfer within seven days after submission of timesheet.
