The Role

 

We are looking for Senior HR Officer who has extensive experiences in Human Resources Management/Generalist to take full responsibility of Country HR Representative. This role is required to support Thailand office and coordinate with HR teams in UK and other regions as below dimension;

  • Analysis of complex but clearly defined problems e.g. country legislation, staff issues, internal policies, policies, tools and procedures implementation
  • Provides advice to managers and employees
  • Supervising/ monitoring resources within defined boundaries (e.g. one or more countries) or specialist professional area, which may include people, assets and/or budgets
  • Provide support and advice to managers on areas of work in the job holder’s remit
  • Provide support for and directly implementing operational plans to agreed standards
  • Handle and provide the solutions to diverse and complex problems and developing solutions to more routine problems
  • Apply information received in a variety of formats primarily from internal sources
  • Job holder has flexibility to anticipate and resolve challenges within their operational context
  • Impact of this role is significant within the operating unit (i.e. country/region/team) and could have some impact affiliate-wide
  • Job holder influences planning for the HR function and/or its operations within its operating context

 

What we are looking for

 

Our next Senior HR Officer will require to have: 

 

Essential

  • Education to degree level in human resources management, political science, business administration or related fields
  • Experience in an administrative HR role and previous experience in human resource management
  • Good knowledge in Thai Labour Law and HR principle
  • Excellent communication in English and Thai
  • Ability to conduct training on HR related subject to staff and partners
  • Skill in adaptability to the diverse and difficult circumstances
  • Strong interpersonal awareness including diplomacy, tact, being able to get on well with others and respect for confidentiality
  • Ability to respond to changes with sufficient flexibility and resilience to avoid letting frustration hinder progress
  • Good organisational abilities with ability to work to deadlines and manage time well

 

Desirable

  • Excellent team member with experience of working with diverse groups
  • Experience working with INGOs preferable
  • Skill and knowledge in organizational change management
  • Good computer skill, excel, word, power point
