ADRA Thailand is currently seeking qualified candidates for the position of Project Manager based in Mae Chan, Chiang Rai, Thailand for Stateless Ethnic Minority Health and Integration Project (SHIP).

Job Overview: Under the supervision of the Program Director, the Project Manager (PM) has the overall responsibility for the implementation of the Stateless Ethnic Minority Health and Integration Project (SHIP). The Project Manager will coordinate project activities with relevant government institutions, civil society and other stakeholders. The PM will further coordinate with other ADRA projects that implement and deliver interventions of benefit and complimentarily to statelessness and anti-trafficking, and further discharge duties under the guidance of the Program Director in delivery of the overall project objective and represent ADRA as necessary. The Project Manager is required to frequently travel to the field in Mae Fa Luang District. 

 

 

 

REPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assisting Shelter Coordinator, Community Field Officer and Cashier/Admin. Assistant with planned output and clear activities.
  • Ensure submission of monthly work plan for staff under supervision.
  • Ensure high quality of project implementation and supervision of project activities and staff.
  • Maintaining regular coordination and quality assurance of inputs and project delivery as well as among project partners to ensure coherence and complementarity of the project activities.
  • Establish and maintain partnerships with stakeholders, representing the project in stakeholders meetings.
  • Ensure appropriate information is disseminated timely to stakeholders.
  • Coordinate the preparation, review and submission of reports as appropriate (quarterly, annual, midterm and final reports).
  • Review and report project financial and progress report by monthly, bi-annually and annually to Program Director in timely manner.
  • Promote identification and capture of best practices and lessons learned for further improvement of project delivery as well as organization wide sharing and learning.
  • Maintaining regular communication with Program Director ensure smooth project operation.
  • Ensure the operational frameworks are adhered to and all documents are maintained appropriately.
  • Assess project risk and provide solutions where applicable.
  • Manage project budgets ensuring delivery is in line with agreed contractual requirements, budget, donor guidelines and ADRA policies and procedures.
  • Ensure stakeholder views and expectations are managed in to provide the best possible result.
  • Take initiative, prioritize and work independently
  • Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor

 

 

QUALIFICATION REQUIRED:

Educational Qualifications and Experience:

  • University Degree in relating filed

 

 

Experience:

  • Bachelor degree or higher with at least 2 year  work experience in managing role

 

 

Language Skills:

  • Fluent in Thai language
  • Proven of written and spoken English language skill

 

 

Skills and Abilities:

  • Ability to work in a Christian context
  • Proven of planning and organizing skills
  • Experience working with community groups
  • Ability to work under pressure and to cope with multi-tasking
  • Ability to interact in a sensitive and diplomatic way
  • Ability to present professionally and speak in public
  • High level of flexibility and self-motivation
