ADRA Thailand is currently seeking qualified candidates for the position of Field Coordinator based in Mae Sot, Thailand for CSO Development for Promotion and Advancement of Migrant Rights Project

Job Overview: The Field Coordinator is responsible for project activities according to the logframe and work plan in consultation with associate project partners (Thai labour authority, government hospital). To ensure project goal is met and effective flow of information between the beneficiaries (migrant workers), local stakeholders (factory owners/managers) and the Program Manager.

 

 

REPONSIBILITIES:

  • Work with the project stakeholders and partners to ensure the project activities are implemented smoothly
  • Work closely with partnering CSOs to build their capacities
  • Assist the Program Manager to implement capacity building activities for partnering CBOs, especially legal services of project partners after coaching from the external consultant and the supervisor
  • Help ensure a good flow of information between the beneficiaries, local stakeholders and the Program Manager
  • Coordinate with associate partners to ensure smooth and effective implementation of Happy and Safety Factory Model Initiative
  • Participate in Happy and Safety Factory Model Working Committee and provide updates and input about the factory model initiative
  • Prepare official letters for project partners in Thai
  • Provide data to M&E Officer to integrate to M&E system
  • Write event reports with good quality after major project events and share with the Program Manager and M&E Officer
  • Provide quality and timely activity progress reports to the Program Manager
  • Participate and contribute to the weekly staff meeting using appropriate management tools
  • Ensure proper implementation of project activities according to the logframe and work plan and in consultation with project partners)
  • Coordinate with partners, consultants and resource persons for  workshops and meetings
  • Assist the Program Manager to implement capacity building activities for partnering CBOs
  • Coordinate TOT programs for CSOs
  • Other tasks required by the Program Manager

 

 

QUALIFICATION REQUIRED:

 

Educational Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher

 

Experience:

  • Significant experience in working with migrant workers, local CSOs, and advocacy (at least 2-3 years)

 

Language Skills:

  • Fluent in English and Thai (written and oral)
  • Fluent in spoken Burmese is a plus

 

Skills and Abilities:

  • Significant experience in working with migrant communities
  • Sound computer skills in word, excel, and power point
  • Ability to work under pressure and to cope with multi-tasking
  • Ability to interact in a sensitive and diplomatic way
  • Ability to work in multi-cultural setting
  • Transparent, organized and responsible work style
  • Team spirit
