Summary

Tetra Tech ES, Inc., a subsidiary of Tetra Tech (Nasdaq: TTEK) is dedicated to improving the energy sector of developing economies. We are recruiting for a Change Management Coach to be based in Bangkok, Thailand to support the implementation of the USAID/ RDMA administered Enhancing Equality in Energy for Southeast Asia Activity over August 2020 to August 2023. The Activity will work to (1) increase diversity of the energy sector workforce; (2) support inclusive workplace environments; and (3) increase promotion and leadership opportunities for women in the energy sector.



The Change Management Coach (CMC) will play a critical role in coaching senior managers within energy sector companies from developing countries to implement gender equitable policies and practices across the employee life cycle, alongside workplace culture change, within their companies.

The Change Management Coach must be eligible to work in Thailand. Third Country Nationals from Burma, Cambodia, Indonesia, Lao PDR, the Philippines or Vietnam willing to relocate unaccompanied to Thailand will also be considered. Responsibilities

  • Develop standards to support energy sector employers in their aspirations to increase the overall number of and career opportunities for women
  • Advise/coach on the implementation of gender equitable policies and practices for the selected energy sector employers – in-person and virtual
  • Support energy sector employers in the implementation of gender equity best practices to promote women’s empowerment and foster organizational change
  • Assist partners in collecting and analyzing data to monitor and evaluate effectiveness of the interventions, as well as track outcomes on the business case, gender equity, and women’s empowerment
  • May be called to design and deliver course modules where appropriate. In this case comprehension of course materials and learning objectives required
  • May be asked to participate in and/or speak at events related to promoting gender equality in male-dominated sectors
  • Support other networking and mentoring activities as needed.


 

Essential Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities Required
 

  • Master’s degree in human resources, gender studies, energy, or related field.
  • 10 years of direct experience working in the field of Gender or Diversity and Inclusion.
  • 10 years of experience working in change management/organizational development providing advise/guidance to private sector companies to improve HR practices and corporate culture change specific to gender equity in Southeast Asia.
  • Experience working in developing country contexts.
  • Experience working in HR-related fields such as recruitment, training, mentorship, HR policies and risk assessment, inclusive workplaces, and corporate culture change.
  • Fluency in English.
  • Superior interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to interact in a constructive, cooperative, and harmonious manner; to work effectively as a team player; to establish positive relationships and gain the confidence of others.


 

Valued But Not Required KSA’s
 

  • Experience working on similar USAID programs is strongly preferred.
  • Experience working with energy sector organizations (public and private) and infrastructure projects.
