KOICA Thailand Office is currently seeking suitably qualified applicants for a position in
Program Officer
 

The Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA) is the sole government agency responsible for the Korean government’s bilateral grant aid programs and technical assistance programs under the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade of the Republic of Korea. Beside technical support and bilateral cooperation, the KOICA office in Thailand is also operating the invitation programs to Thai officials for training courses in Korea and dispatching Korea overseas volunteers to partner organizations in Thailand.

POSITION TITLE: Program Officer 

NATIONALITY: Thai

CONTRACT DURATION: until 31 March 2026 (with possibility of annual extension) 

JOB TYPE: Full-time / Monday to Friday (08:00-16:30, 35 hours per week) 

LOCATION: KOICA Thailand Office/ AIA Capital Center, Bangkok 10400 

ESTIMATED START DATE: 13 August 2025 

Salary range: USD 900 ~ 1,100 (depending on experience).

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

1. WFK(World Friends Korea) Dispatched Personnel Management

  • Provide support for WFK volunteer and advisor service and activity management
  • Support the planning and implementation of demand survey for WFK volunteer, advisor, and KMCO
  • Support the organization of volunteer local adaptation training, partner organization workshop, volunteer evaluation meeting, and VOP(Volunteer Onsite Project) 

2. Capacity Building Program

  • Support the management of alumni association of KOICA capacity building program (including organization of relevant events) 

3. Administration

  • Office events and administrative support as necessary

 

REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor's degree, preferably in the area of business administration, international development, or related fields.
  • Minimum of 1 year experience in relevant fields.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (e.g., Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Fluency in English is required. Knowledge of Korean language is an asset.
