SEI Asia, based in Bangkok, has a diverse team of multinational experts that integrates scientific research with participatory approaches to co-develop and share knowledge, build partnerships, and influence policy for resilient development. It focuses on gender and social equity, climate adaptation, disaster risk reduction, water insecurity and integrated water resources management, transitional agriculture, renewable energy and urbanisation.
SEI Asia is hosted by Chulalongkorn University (CU), Thailand. SEI and CU have inked a long-term agreement to foster innovative scientific research combined with effective policy engagement on development and environmental challenges in Asia.
The Platform Manager for Aid Atlas will coordinate SEI’s work on the Aid Atlas development finance platform. They will work with data management and analysis, and promote the tool to internal and external experts to influence key decision makers in science-based environmental and development policy.
The individual will also ensure collaboration across our centres and report to a global steering committee to encourage the use of Aid Atlas within different research programmes.
Working across SEI’s global offices, the Platform Manager will lead platform design and development, promotion, and case study development. They will work with multiple teams to support research studies, develop ideas and support others to grow the use of Aid Atlas as a policy decision support tool.
We are looking for a person who understands the potential uses (and audiences) for Aid Atlas, and who has the skills and networks to promote the tool and start conversations with practitioners in environment, development, private sector and government circles.
You have a background in development finance, can understand and use the data to show visual infographics to inform others, and can devise potential applications for Aid Atlas.
