Project Assistant Intern:

If you are thinking of entering the world of social research and consulting, an internship at Rapid Asia could be an ideal start for you.

Rapid Asia is an independent management consultancy firm based in Bangkok that specializes in evaluations for programs, projects, social marketing campaigns and other social development initiatives. We carry out program evaluations across a number of thematic areas including human trafficking, migration, gender, health, climate change, education etc. Our clients include major donors, UN agencies and international aid and development organizations. We take a regional approach to evaluations and have developed tools and indicators that can be used across borders for the purpose of evaluating program impact. Rapid Asia has to date carried out evaluations in 30 countries across Asia, Middle-East, Africa, Eastern Europe and Central/South America.

We are looking for an energetic person to join our small but dynamic team. Rapid Asia is looking for talented, motivated and passionate individuals – like you – from around the world who bring knowledge, innovative thinking and different ideas to our project team

Job Responsibilities:

• Translation of interviews and other documents from Thai to English and vice versa

• Preparing interview summaries and key findings

• Conduct desk research and preparing proposals

• Checking field surveys data

• Preparation of project materials e.g. show card

• Provide support to project team as required

Requirements:

• Thai national

• Possess a university degree or be enrolled in the final academic year

• Good command of written English and Thai including ability to provide accurate translations

• Shall be computer literate in standard software applications

• Have a demonstrated keen interest in social development-related work

• Flexible and able to work on own initiative with minimal supervision

• Intern will be required to work full time

• The minimum duration of an internship is 3 months and can be up to 6 months
