Senior Programme Finance Officer

Level: D1

 

Duration: Fixed term Contract until 31 December 2021

 

Location: Bangkok

The Role

Senior Programme Finance officer is responsible in managing and controlling Thailand programme including budget analysis, forecasting, funding coordinating and reporting. Coordinate with donors and programme staff, relevant partners/suppliers/stakeholders in developing project proposal (financial part) and financial report according to programme requirement.

S/he will be responsible Support programme partners through providing capacity building as well as quality control and project audit. Ensure OXFAM programme financial management effectively managed and maintained (OPAL, CRIMSON and People Soft).  

 

What we are looking for

Our Senior Programme Finance officer will require to be exceptional, dedicated, and highly motivated professional, with a strong commitment to Oxfam's values and beliefs with the following qualification and competencies:

  • Qualification in finance and accounting with sufficient financial management experience including budgeting, analytical, forecasting, funding coordinating, and reporting
  • Strong IT skills (MS office), especially ability in using Advance Excel with ability to learn new software package is essential.
  • Ability in building finance management capacity and delivering financial trainings
  • Working effectively with others good inter-personal awareness and supporting others
  • Takes responsibility for receipt of information and respect confidentiality
  • Effective communication skills in both Thai and English
  • The abilities to conduct cost and benefit analysis
