Established in 1951, IOM is the leading inter-governmental organization in the field of migration and works closely with governmental, intergovernmental and non-governmental partners. ORGANIZATIONAL CONTEXT AND SCOPE:
Under the overall supervision of the National Project Officer (CREST), and under the direct supervision of the Programme Officer (CREST) in Bangkok, and the technical guidance of the National Private Sector Engagement Officer (IOM Philippines), the incumbent will be responsible for providing technical and administrative support related to the implementation of capacity building activities on ethical recruitment for different supply chain actors in global supply chains.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor’s degree in the field of Social Sciences, Law, Sustainability, or a related field from an accredited academic institution with at least four years of relevant professional experience
Solid experience in training programme development.
Demonstrated success in supplier capacity building and in facilitating training sessions.
At least four years of experience in assessing companies against international standards on labour and human rights or related areas.
Experience in Code of Conduct audits or management system-based audits as a certified and trained auditor is preferred.
Experience in assessing companies in different industries is a strong asset.
Experience in monitoring improvement plan status and progress from labour and human rights assessments.
Experience in drafting regular status and progress report.
Experience working with Government counterparts, UN agencies and/or non-governmental organizations is considered an asset.
Certification in one or more of the following: ISO 9001, SA 8000, IRCA, or proof of successful completion of other social compliance training course is a strong asset.
Strong knowledge of ethical trading practices, management systems on labour rights and due diligence on responsible business conduct.
Strong knowledge of labour migration and supply chains transparency and management.
Knowledge of Thailand and industry risks related to labour and human rights.
Strong quantitative business analysis skills, attention to detail, and high level of accuracy.
Intermediate or basic-intermediate excel skills.
Strong writing and communication skills.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Teamwork oriented but with a capacity to work independently.
Ability to work in a multi‐cultural environment and respect diversity
