Clinical Supervisor Assistant/ Nurse Trainer
Duty Station: Mae Sariang town, Mae Hong Son province
Work locations: Mae Sariang and Sob-Moei Districts with in the field
Duration: 10 months with potential for extension
Salary range: 30,000-35,000 THB (+benefits)

Main Responsibilities/Duties as Clinical Supervisor Assistant
Provide curative health care service including nursing care at health station at target project sites with the support of health station assistant and site-based health volunteers.
Monitor and supervise health care services delivered by health station assistants and volunteers.
Supervise entry screening at target locations to identify persons with special medical care needs.
Implement and monitor COVID 19 case management, prevention, and control activities in target locations according to standard guidelines and protocols.
Support clinical supervisors with patient management, treatment, and referrals to Thai hospitals.
Provide basic and refresher training for health stations assistant and volunteers.
Support to deliver MNCH services in target location with midwife supervisor.
Collect and report basic health data in each target location in weekly and monthly basis.
Main Responsibilities/Duties as Nurse Trainer (requires overnight stay at teamhouse in the field)
Review and update Malteser International basic training curriculum for nurses.
Conduct site-based nurse basic training as per curriculum.
Prepare training documents, handouts, tools, and other relevant training materials and prepare data needed for detailed end of training certificate according to set format.
Prepare and conduct periodical evaluation of the trainees at the end of each subject and properly record those results.
Responsible for final examination, both theory and practical, to assess the student’s clinical skills.
Submit periodical training report, indicating budget spent, training achievement and needs.
Essential Qualifications/Skills:
Nurse degree holder with proven registration in home country with at least 3 years of experience as nurse in government or private hospitals.
Previous experience of working as a nurse in a resource limited rural environment.
Previous experience working as trainer or with strong teaching and training skills,
Open and enthusiastic to work in a multicultural and challenging environment w/ limited resources.
Strong in analytical thinking, prioritization of tasks and problem-solving skills
Meticulous and detail oriented
Fluent in Sgaw Karen and/or Burmese language with good command of Thai as an advantage.
Starting date: As soon as possible.
