Your duties and responsibilities:
Legal tasks
- oversee and take full responsibility of all legal tasks together with the Head - Office Administration and Accounting
- coordinate with Thai government authorities and Thai embassies in other countries for visa, work permits, licenses, etc.
- prepare and submit accurate legal documents to the respective authorities in a timely manner
- deal with lawyers for notary services, audit firms and other stakeholders etc.
- perform legal research and analyse findings
- obtain relevant information about laws and regulations from our network
- keep yourself updated about legal changes including visa and work permit regulations and take action if they concern the organisation
- maintain compliance with internal and external policies
Support office administration, financial tasks and accounting
- document financial transactions in our accounting software
- prepare and execute payments, verify documentation
- make travel arrangements such as booking flights, cars, hotels etc.
- create and maintain a nice working environment including office site management
- help organising and executing special events and meetings
- run various errands
- assist colleagues and your team with various administrative duties whenever there is an opportunity to do so
We are looking for an ambitious person with:
- a strong interest in working for an NGO,
- completed vocational college education in accounting/financial management, office administration or equivalent education,
- minimum 5 years of work experience in the field of office administration or a similar field,
- experience in obtaining visa and work permits for foreign employees and writing official letters,
- knowledge about NGO law in Thailand is a plus,
- ability to pay close attention and notice minor details,
- great interpersonal skills and verbal and written communication skills,
- excellent organisational and time management skills,
- ability to work under pressure and to adapt to a changing legal environment,
- strong problem solving and decision-making skills,
- an open mind, a positive attitude and the desire to support others,
- willingness to learn and take over new or additional tasks,
- knowledge of appropriate software including Microsoft Word, Excel and Powerpoint,
- advanced English language skills,
- valid driver’s license,
- and Thai nationality.
