Remuneration and Benefits:

Monthly base salary negotiable, commensurate with qualifications , Housing allowance , Health, life insurance and Annual leave allowance of 24 days

Qualification

Knowledge:    

Master’s degree in computer science, information technology, computer network engineering, or related field

Experience:

• At least 5 years of experience in network administration and security and firewall management
• Experience with user interaction for systems requirement, collaborative design, and feedback
• Experience in diverse database design (MySQL, Microsoft SQL, or NoSQL), and various Linux/Unix distribution platforms
• 2 – 3 years’ experiences in the role of IT infrastructure, or IT Security.
• knowledge of Microsoft Server OS, Microsoft Active Directory, Microsoft Exchange, VMware, Cisco equipment (firewall, switches, routers, VTC, and VoIP)
• Experience in Microsoft IIS configuration, centralized WiFi infrastructure, Cloud Services would be an advantage.
• At least 4 years’ experience in web-based application development in any standard platform, preferably PHP; experience in database design (MySQL, Microsoft SQL, or Access); experience in HTML5, PHP, Perl, Angular JS, JavaScript, Python, shell; adequate experience in various Linux/Unix distribution platforms

Skills and Abilities: 

Excellent analytical skills and problem-solving ability; English proficiency in communication, presentation, and report writing

Personal Qualities

Self-motivated, with ability to prioritize work, meet deadlines, and manage changing priorities; flexibility and ability to work hard independently and in a team; ability to work in a high-pressure on-call environment

Major Duties and Responsibilities:

The Network administrator shall develop security protocols and manage and maintain the RIMES internet network and ensure the network remain secure from breach. Specific tasks include:

• Perform System and Network monitoring of IT and related Infrastructure including the Systems and Network Resources
• Maintain and monitor specific designated portion of IT Infrastructure Operations and Network
• Perform routine maintenance and system backup in assigned IT Infrastructure – System and Network Resources
• Liaise with ICT vendors and procurement team for the support and procurement of IT Infrastructure
• Maintain and update inventory, documentations of IT Infrastructure
• Analyze and troubleshoot designated responsible hardware and software issues, including service / support delivery via IT request to meet Service Level Agreement
• Moderate technical knowledge and hands on Network & Security, Routers, Firewall, Switch, VOIP, Wireless Controller & Access Point, LAN&WLAN
