Regional Digital Officer, 100%, based in Bangkok

We are looking for a motivated, collaborative, and proactive communicator  to join our dynamic team.

The Regional Communication Center (RCC) based in the ICRC Regional Delegation in Bangkok is seeking to hire a  Regional Digital Officer. The Digital Officer 2 reports to the Head of Regional Communication Center and will support ICRC’s efforts to position itself and increase acceptance of its mission, strategic objectives and activities Asia-Pacific.

 Your main responsibilities:

• supports delegations in Asia-Pacific in navigating their digital environment
• strategizes and coordinates creative, effective, and culturally adapted regional communication campaigns
• supports in the development and production of innovative and data-informed communication products
• builds a network of suppliers of creative services based in the region and supports the delegations when content production needs to be outsourced
• relays relevant information between ICRC Asia-Pacific country offices, the region, and the Headquarters
• prepares reports on activities performed and ensures that lessons learned are documented and shared
• organizes and delivers trainings on trends on social media use in Asia-Pacific, campaign development, and other specialized digital skills that may be requested by the different country offices

Selection requirements and experience:

• Fluent in written and spoken English
• 3-5 years of relevant experience in social media management or digital content development   
• Knowledgeable in digital advertising, online community management, content management, and effective multimedia storytelling
• Experience working in a mission-driven organization
• International experience is a plus Proficient in MS Office programs and other online collaborative working tools
